African fashion like the film and music industry has taken a leap in recent times. Taking it a notch higher is  House of Henri who are organising a workshop titled, “Taking your Fashion Business to the Next Level (Opportunities for Funding and Marketing). Confirmed speakers for the workshop include Lisa Folawiyo of “Jewel by Lisa”, Bassey Essien of the “International Styleweek Ltd”, FATE Foundation and Mr. Bakare of Cedar Microfinance Bank. 

These workshops are meant to bring Participants, and the Students and Alumni of Fashion and Art Academy in contact with industry stakeholders who have access to information which they can leverage on to take their businesses to the next level. The workshop is slated for Friday, 3^rd September, 2010 at the offices of FATE Foundation, Water House, Ijora, Lagos by 8:30am. The fee is N5,000. This is to be paid into HOUSE OF HENRI, Account Number-2931770002834, Skye Bank.
