The Island is a drama series produced by Tola Odunsi, Bayo Lambo, Akins Akinkugbe, and Kemi Akinkugbe. It portrays the web of intrigue and machination that characterizes Nigerian high society. It follows the loves, lives, and exploits of a group of young, attractive, high-flying island dwellers in the city of Lagos. The series was directed by Bobby Boulders and it stars Demola Adedoyin, Tolu ‘Toolz’ Oniru, Seun O, Eku Edewor, and Derin ‘DJ Caise’ Philips.

The Lagos premiere of Turning Point , will take place today the 24th of May 2013 at Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island. Directed by Niyi Towolawi, it stars Patience Ozokwo, Todd Bridges, Oge Okoye, Jackie Appiah,Igoni Archipong, K.D Aubert, Enyinna Nwigwe, and Ernie Hudson. The theatrical release of Turning Point will also be today.
