Reports reaching us let us know that 'Half of A Yellow Sun' the much awarded harrowing, war story by the talented authour, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is being made into a film and has featured to act in it, Hollywood-based Nigerian Actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor & Hollywood actress, Thandie Newton!

"Producers Andrea Calderwood ("The Last King of Scotland," "Generation Kill") and Gail Egan ("Happy-Go-Lucky," "The Constant Gardener") have fully financed, thanks to help from both Nigerian private equity and the British Film Instute, their adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's bestselling novel "Half of a Yellow Sun." The movie is to be produced by British-based playwright, Biyi Bandele and has Chiwetel Ejiofor, Dominic Cooper and Thandie Newton all locked into the film. Shooting is said to be done in Nigeria. Sounds really interesting. Watch this space!
