I am living in the US and found out that u must be base in nigeria in order to
win premiere tickets, that not right, only people in nigeria watch african
movies.I GUESS THE FANS IN U STATES

avatar Tickets to Nigeria run almost 2 G's. It's not that they don't have love for us
in the states,it's just costly.... Don't feel like that... I mean I'm black
american with no african connection that I know of and the owner of this site
makes me feel super welcomed... Not for once has she made me feel like she has
no love for the fans in the states.... In fact she has made me feel that we too
can have a chance....

Dear Sharry
It is a known fact that Nigeria is the base of most Nollywood films
so a premiere in Nigeria is done to create awareness for the film. It is
usually a strictly by IV event or but if the producers decide to provide a free
ticket to a lucky fan then thats their prerogative. I think dissing the whole
idea of the competition is very petty and uncalled for.

avatar Not true....Do you know that there was a casting call in dallas for a reality tv
show....? You actually have to do more research to know what's going on...
I
use to think that all nigerian women have issues with black american women until
I got to know Bola and a few others via online....
They don't discriminate at
all....
I feel I have just as much chance as a guanian or nigerian to present
my best works....
Please don't feel this way...From your last name it seems
that you are a black american like me...So let's just try to see where we fit
in....instead of pulling down black production with your insults, if you feel
that the films look "low quality", see what you can do to help the
upcoming industry
After all Rome wasn't built in a day...When people stop
internet streaming and pirating the films they will have enough money to send
you to Nigeria for a film watching...
Until then...let us support and love each
