In the midst of the laughing, eating, drinking and dancing some people decided to spend the day with some that are not as fortunate as us... one of such people is Monalisa Chinda. She spent Boxing Day at the Motherless Babies Home,Lekki and has not remained the same since. The experience,she said reduced her to tears. Seeing all the little kids (even babies) that were abandoned on the streets with no one to call their own was a very emotional experience for her. She met the children (some of which were not allowed to be photographed) and also talked with the proprietor and staff there who she says she now has a healthy respect for. This season, in the midst of the gift giving and receiving, let's spare a thought for the motherless, widows and orphans, okay? See some more pics of her visit.
