The event started a little behind schedule with opening prayers and the National Anthem being sung by Stella Damasus. The artist Slam later came up to give a musical performance where he sang a song incorporating Ini's name. The actress who was accompanied by her parents, siblings and husband Philip Ehiagwina swayed and moved to the beat. Stella Damasus later came on and sang a beautiful love song, setting the scene for the movie screening. After the screening, it received thunderous applause. Ini then gave a speech thanking everyone and called up for curtain call and recognition, those behind the production like Emem Isong who co-produced and Desmond Elliot who directed. Guests then left with their goody bags! It was a lovely event in all! Stay tuned for more pix in the coming weeks!

Behind every successful event is a brilliant brain or rather some brilliant brains!! A big ups to the organisers of the event, Royal Arts Academy led by Uduak 'Koko-will-do-it' Oguamanam! She with the able team helped make this event as hitch-free as possible. Big ups to the style team ... I call them the Glam Squad who pried me out of my jeans and T's to wear a dress and not just any dress... a short, red one at that! haha! I quite enjoyed the transformation. Yolanda Okereke ... my girl, I've got to thank you for that. Youre the best. My make up was done by Vera and Make-up Maestro Temisan Etsede. Other stylists were Ezinne who styled celebs like Emem Isong and Monalisa Chinda. And em... did we forget to tell you that the Event Venue both inside and outside was draped in Chivita banners? Seeing is believing! lol Expect more pics in the coming weeks. Yolanda, stylist to the stars... head of my glam squad!
