Still on the story of Uche Jombo's defamation of character lawsuit,  we at nollywooduncut.com had a chat with her lawyer Victor Ukutt Esq. recently and he intimated us that 'the accused soft cell magazine, 'News of the People' have been served with court summons, to appear in court for defaming the character of their client, Ms. Uche Jombo.

The magazine's representatives are yet to  respond or put of a defense.  They have forty-two days to do this, after which a motion will be filed for judgement. If they are not able to come up with the N100 billion naira being asked for then, they have no option but to start liquidating the assets of this company'.  Hmm... Uche and her legal team certainly mean business! It will be remembered that Uche was  said by the soft cell company, to  have aborted a 6 month old pregnancy.  A report said to be untrue by Uche.  Meanwhile, all efforts to reach her has not been successful as she is said be on an indefinite trip to the United States.
