Esther Opoku(Miss Black Africa Finalist), Alasia Ballard(Americas Next Top Model), Justina Mutale(CEO Positive Runway), Ruvimbo Chinzou(Miss Black Africa) Beauty Queens, Pageant Directors and Top Models put on their running shoes and sweated their way through the Queens for a Reason charity run yesterday. The event which took place at the Lee Valley Athletic center in Edmonton London was an initiative of the Miss Black Africa Organization responsible for holding the Annual Miss Black Africa International Beauty pageant. The Queens for a Reason event was a fundraising event for Street Child Africa, a UK registered charity that currently funds ambitious programmes across eight sub-Saharan countries. The All Star line-up included Alasia Ballard from Americas Next Top Model, Ruvimbo Chinzou (Miss Black Africa), Shakira Nabakooza(Miss Uganda UK) and Esther Opoku (Miss Black Africa Ghana). Also in attendance were Justina Mutale( CEO positive Runway and founder Miss Zambia UK), Marlon Devonish (GB Olympic Gold medallist), Labour Councillor Nneka Keazor, Theodora Ibekwe (CEO Miss Elegant International) and Dele Onabowu (founder Miss Black Africa).
