The 4th edition of Nigeria’s leading men’s lifestyle magazine MODE Men Magazine‘s annual “Men of the Year” Awards took place on Sunday 10th December 2011 in the grand ballroom of the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.

Beauty Queens, Pageant Directors and Top Models put on their running shoes and sweated their way through the Queens for a Reason charity run yesterday. The event which took place at the Lee Valley Athletic center in Edmonton London was an initiative of the Miss Black Africa Organization responsible for holding the Annual Miss Black Africa International Beauty pageant. The Queens for a Reason event was a fundraising event for Street Child Africa, a UK registered charity that currently funds ambitious programmes across eight sub-Saharan countries.

London was not left out as the whole world celebrated World Aids Day yesterday, the 2nd of December 2011. The event took place at the Boothroyd Hall in Essex. It was part of a worldwide synchronized Music and Fashion Event, organized by POSITIVE RUNWAY: Global Catwalk to Stop the Spread and AfricanActs Media.

The much awarded and awaited movie, "Two Brides & A Baby' premiered in Lagos at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, Lekki!
